Do you even know what intelligently defending yourself means? Diaz was still in it as you can tell by him grabbing Daley’s hands. When Daley fell he was out he got rocked and from the angle Big John was in he could tell. It doesnt matter what hes being hit with if he is still in the fight he can fight Daley was not.
