The greatness of Anderson is unrivaled in this sport...because he is an athlete and a sportsman before he is a fighter. And I’m sure he would have been as humble in defeat as he was in victory...its what makes him so great...he has respect for all fellow athletes (and apparently human beings).And on the other hand there’s poor miserable Sonnen ...riding on a dream that’s now too far gone to achieve...well he’s in for the depressing shock when he wakes up and realizes...nil again...maybe this time he can make up a fake belt that says loser. Anyway he can run back to mummy now...maybe one day he can say my daddy would’ve been proud...but not today.

Quit making excuses. Two guys fight and the better fighter won. Rules were set so that this style of fighting wouldn’t be banned. And if you did away with the rules, then that would force people to train differently for a different type of fighting. And if you want to refer to real fighting, then what exactly is that? For me real fight is to the death...biting, eye gouging, breaking of the fingers like in the coliseums of Rome. It’s a sport and the better fight won.
I do agree with some comments saying for as big of a fight this was it was an early stoppage. HIs hands were up protecting his head. Come on we’ve ALL seen a lot worse and let it continue.
I previously questioned Munoz’s chin, but if you can take punches from Chris Leben I guess it can’t be all that weak.
