No way was it stopped early. ellenberger was out of it entirely

really bad stoppage. 2nd time watching this and i still think that the fight was stopped early. ellenberger had his hand in position for defense, not only that this ref guy sucks major balls and is the worst in the ufc.

look at the replay.. look where his hands where, were the covering his face? even after the stoppage? yes it was early but in this case it was NOT a BAD early stoppage.

he didn’t get the chance to bring them to his face cuz of that bitch ass ref.

steve does suck as a ref, ellenberger was in no more danger there than kampmann was in the first rd

It was a good stoppage, but he should let kampmann throw a few more punches first

He was grabbing his nose, he was obviously in pain too. Damn fools.

just because he falls, doesn’t mean he’s out, BUT, he was rocked, and Kampmann probably would have finished it in THAT, or any other round after, Ellenberger was GAAASSED.

Notice that Ellenberger didn’t complain after the stoppage? That’s usually a good indication that it was a justified stoppage.

Ellenberger got screwed. Horrible stoppage. Should have been stopped in the first when Kampmann got dropped and was getting pounded on.

Should have been stopped at 4:18. Garbage reefing.

NOT a FAN of EITHER FIGHTER but NOT a HATER of EITHER FIGHTER EITHER ... But KAMPMANN needs to LEANR NOT to keep his HEAD UP & in THE CENTER when DUDES are coming in with WILD PUNCHES .. He LUCKILY SURVIVED ELLENBERGER in this FIRST ROUND but NOT HENDRICKS LAST NIGHT & EVERYTIME KAMPMANN is on the VERGE of a TITLE SHOT he LOSES a DECISION or KOD ... I will ALWAYS BE GREATFUL to ELLENBERGER for his TKO against JAKE SHILEDS because I HATE JAKE SHIELDS (lol)

See it is a bad stoppage, they should have let Ellenberger ate a few more punches before calling it out.
